He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Frank and Stella Norman Little; his children, Russell Glenn Little and Teresa Laura Little; his siblings, Louise Little Pierce, Norman Little, William Little, Mary Elizabeth Little, Franklin Little, Marjorie Little Everett and Maylon Little; and his siblings-in-law, Lula Johnson Lewis, Madison E. Johnson and Louie H. Johnson.

He is survived by: his wife Dr. Laura Johnson Little; his daughter Susan Denise Little; his siblings, Jean Little Cherry (Jack) of Greenville and John Little (Marlene) of Raleigh; and his sisters-in-law, Dr. Linda Little of Raleigh, Emmie Johnson of Dover and Terri Johnson of Farro. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Teresa L. Little Scholarship Fund, St. James UMC or Building Fund at St. James.
