Mary White Means Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on August 14, 2025, at the age of 96, Mary White Means of Vanceboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George H. (Madeline Lemley White) and Jane; her siblings, Jean, Donna, David and Pat; and her granddaughter Lauren Means.
She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Charles Robert "Bob" Means, Jr. (Mary Margaret) of Salter Path, NC and Michael Means (Cathryn) of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Charles Robert Means, III and Mary Abigail of Kinston; her son Teryn-Elizabeth Bond (Joseph) of Morehead City; and her great grandchildren, Charles Robert Means, IV, Audrey Kinlaw Means, Wells Theodore Means and Oliver Marino Bond.
