It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Donald Metcalf of Vanceboro, North Carolina, born in Midland, Michigan, who passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Collis Metcalf; his siblings, Mary Blakeslee (Neil) of Rockford, MI and Dan Metcalf (Dorothy) of Midland, MI; his children, Allison Woodard (Sean) of Flower Mound, TX, Lindsey Lee (Ian) of Kernersville, NC and John Metcalf of Missoula, MT; and his grandchildren, Ethan, Henry, Adelaide, Dash and Olen. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
