He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Brooks and Blanche Brooks; and his brothers, Ronald Brooks, Francis Brooks and Raymond Brooks.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Brooks; his children, Crystal Brooks Fix (Matthew) of Grimesland and Norman C. Brooks, Jr. (Stephanie) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Trey Brooks (Hailey) of Harlem, Georgia and Lauren Taylor of Swindon; and his siblings, Gloria LaCourse of Bradford, Vermont, Larry Brooks of Lyndonville and Donald Brooks of Ayden.
