It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Peggy Williams of Vanceboro, North Carolina, who passed away on October 17, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband John Albert Williams; her parents, Maggie Rawls and John Thad Harris; and her brothers, James Granville Harris and Leslie B. Harris.
She is survived by: her husband Lord; her sons, Joey Glenn Williams of Greenville, Thomas Harold Williams of Okinawa and Johnny Dean Williams, Sr. (Jenny) of Washington; her grandchildren, Jennifer Alexandra Williams, Johnathan Michael Williams, Johnny Dean Williams, Jr., Elizabeth Marie Williams and James Blake Williams; her siblings, Grady "Buddy" Gray Harris (Lynda) of Washington and Mary Ann Kelly of Ayden; and her nephew Christopher Lee Williams.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Home & Crematory - Greenville (2100 E 5th St, Greenville, NC 27858). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
