With sadness, we share the passing of Phyllis Mitchell Wilson (Vanceboro, North Carolina). Phyllis, born on August 14, 1948 in Beaufort, North Carolina, passed away on September 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Mitchell and Reba Mitchell; her husband George Wilson, Jr.; her brother Billy G. Mitchell; and her stepdaughter Connie Lancaster.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Shaver (David); her stepdaughters, Cathy Wilson Smith and Denise Wilson (Bert); her grandchildren, Charles Martin Bailey, Ashley Bailey, Gwen Carter, Chelsea Russ and Kelly Gaskins; and her great grandchild Jackson Carter.
