The memory of Rebecca Reel McGowan of Vanceboro, North Carolina, who passed away on June 18, 2025 at the age of 85, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Laurie Reel and Eula Roach Reel; her husband David Lewis McGowan; and her siblings, Margie Paramore, Miriam Pleasant, Louis Reel and Elton Reel.
She is survived by: her son Randy McGowan (Lori) of Pawleys Island, SC; her grandsons, Taylor McGowan (Blythe) of Irmo, SC and Cody McGowan (Hailey) of Murrells Inlet, SC; her great grandchildren, Colin McGowan, Grayson McGowan and Avery McGowan; and her sister Lois Gray of Grimesland. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Wilkerson Funeral Home & Crematory - Greenville (2100 E 5th St, Greenville, NC 27858). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
