She was predeceased by : her parents, William Jesse and Mattie James Everette; and her husband Burney Tripp. She is survived by : her son Ricky Lane Tripp (Shirley) of Greenville; and her grandchildren, Ricky Lane Tripp, Jr., Anthony Tripp, Christy Tripp and Brian Kughn. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
