He was predeceased by: his parents, Garner Horne and Bonnie Fountain Horne; and his brother-in-law William Chapman. He is survived by: his wife Judi Pitt Horne; his children, Krista Horne Joyner (Chris), Melissa Horne Snapp (Courtney) and Gregory Thomas Horne (Ashley); his grandchildren, Hannah Grace Joyner, Hadyn Joyner, Mackenzie Snapp, Lincoln Horne and Sullivan Horne; and his siblings, John Horne (Gail) and MaryAnn H. Chapman. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He served and made significant contributions to the NCACPA and influenced the CPA profession at both the state and national level.
