She was predeceased by: her parents, Romie Lee Coward and Bertha Hardee Coward; her brother Donald Lee Coward; and her husband Clifford Toler. She is survived by: her daughters, Cathy Smith (Spike) of Clayroot, Connie Lancaster (Mike Gray) of Dudley's Crossroads and Denise Wilson (Bert Stallings) of New Bern; her granddaughters, Gwen Carter (Brandon) of Vanceboro and Chelsea Russ (Kenneth) of Greenville; and her great grandchild Jackson Carter of Vanceboro.
