Earl Simpson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 13, 2026, at the age of 89, Earl Simpson (Vass, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Martin Simpson and Sarah Marks Simpson; his wife Ethel Coore Simpson; his children, Elizabeth Ann Simpson Spruill and Paul Duwayne Simpson; and his siblings, Frances Simpson Harrell Long, Ivan Simpson and George Allen Simpson.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Leanne Simpson; his grandchildren, Kelly Haddock (Ben), Shannon Smith (Brandon), Audrey Burns (Hunter) and Chad Simpson; his great grandchildren, Braxton, Sage, Ayden and Charlotte; and his siblings, Mary Edith Simpson Floyd and Wayne Russen Simpson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mt. Pleasant Christian Church in memory of Poppy Earl.
