It is with sadness that the passing of Eloise Turney of Vass, North Carolina is shared. Eloise, born on July 8, 1944, passed away on September 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Stone and Martha McClendon Stone; her husband Jesse Ray Turney; her son Robert Ray Turney (Lynn) of Carthage; her siblings, Doris and Willis Stone; and her granddaughter Kimberly McNeill.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark Turney (Thelma) of Cameron and Phillip Turney of Vass; her grandchildren, Leanna, Jessica and Anthony; and her brother Leroy Stone. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the New Home Baptist Church (996 Lobelia Rd, Vass, NC 28394). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at the New Home Baptist Church Cemetery (996 Lobelia Rd, Vass, NC 28394).
