He is survived by: his wife Margaret Stutts Garner of Vass; his children, Garry M. Garner (Sally) of Fayetteville, Duayne "Ducky" Edward Garner (Natalie) of Wilmington and Libby Wheeler of Fayetteville; his brothers, William T. Garner of Mississippi and Dwight A. Garner of Louisiana; his grandson Jeffrey Garner of Charlotte; his stepchildren, Archie Lee Suggs, Jr. (Lori) and Reaford Duane Suggs; and his stepgrandchildren, Kristen Suggs, Karen Fernandez, Jennifer Duvall and Archie Ray Suggs, Jr.. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
