He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Lee McSmith and Louise Burks McSmith; and his sisters, Brenda, Debbie and Susie.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa McSmith; his children, Brandon McSmith (Krystal) of Spring Lake, Kristina McSmith of High Point and Logan Campbell (DesiRae) of Florida; his grandchildren, Dalton, McKinley, Naomi, Levi, Lettie and Luka; his siblings, Cheryl Hagan (Phillip) of Texas, Michelle Ursua of California, Angie Gilmore of Kansas, Jeff McSmith (Michelle) of Arizona, Jeff Gilmore (Lisa) of Oklahoma and William Gilmore (Bobbie Jo) of Oklahoma; and his close friends, Lily, Willow and Hope (Kitty Kitty).
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel (4888 US-1, Vass, NC 28394).
