It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Mary Corbin of Vass, North Carolina, born in Montrose, New York, who passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Edward Mills Mackey and Mae Carey Mackey; and her siblings, Helen, Edward, Charles and Bernie.

She is survived by : her husband Charles R. Corbin Jr.; her children, Linda Corbin Foster (Randy), Leo Corbin (Mary Beth) of Greenville, NC and Charles Corbin III (Dieu) of Pinehurst, NC; and her grandchildren, Carey Vaughan Foster and Mae Margaret Corbin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cox Memorial Funeral Home (4888 US-1, Vass, NC 28394). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery (8220 Bragg Blvd, Spring Lake, NC 28390).
