She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip William and Lydia Miller Kern; her husband Charles Leland Frederiksen; her daughter Carol Ruth Frederiksen; and her sisters, Marie, Lucille, Katherine and Dorothy.
She is survived by: her children, Lynne Frederiksen Brawn of Fuquay Varina and Eric Frederiksen (Sheila) of Mebane; and her grandchildren, Jennifer, Karl (Monse), Kurt, Kelly and Casey (Lee).
