He is survived by: his children, Sherri Ball Cayton (Jim) of Leland, NC and Derek Allan Ball (Kelly) of Vass; his grandchildren, Evan (Jessica), Walker, Hayden (Daniel) and Mallory; his great grandchildren, Emilia, Ryder and Adaline; and his siblings, Betty Smith of Virginia and Hermus Ball (Anita) of Greensboro.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel (4888 US-1, Vass, NC 28394). A reception will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
