Hazel Aldridge Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Earl Colvard and Onie Hayes Colvard; her husband Ralph Avery Aldridge; her siblings, Edward Colvard, Rev. Henry Colvard, Junior Colvard, Bobby Colvard, Howard Colvard, Carl Colvard, Northa West and Mary Triplett; her grandson Keith Aldridge; and her son-in-law Jerry Cox.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Aldridge (Janie) of Vilas, Kenneth Aldridge of Boone, Janet A. Cox of Sparta, NC and Carolyn Aldridge (Rick Bradshaw) of Fleetwood, NC; and her grandchildren, Kevin Aldridge (Kristy) of West Jefferson, NC, Chad Cox (Hailey) of Sparta, NC and Wendy Whaley of State Road, NC. She is also survived by six great- grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bibleway Baptist Church (964 George Wilson Rd, Boone, NC 28607). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
