James Kenneth Hayes Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Kenneth Hayes of Vilas, North Carolina, who passed away on January 4, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Alfonzo Hayes; his wife Beulah Brown Hayes; and his siblings, Tom Hayes, Mary Fletcher, Anna Leigh Summett and Elizabeth Kanupp.

He is survived by : his mother Ann Colvard Hayes; his children, Susie Moffitt (Mike) of Lenoir, Becky Warren (Barry) of Holly Springs and James Hayes; his granddaughters, Nicole Farthing (Joel) of Bethel and Erika Carroll (Nathan) of Holly Springs; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Colt, Hattie Mae, Lucas, Kayleigh and Andrew; his brother Bill Hayes (Carrie) of Monroe; his sisters-in-law, Patricia Baldwin and Alta Hayes; his niece Karen Blackburn; his nephew Alan Miller; his close friends, Leonard Dunn and Durwood Hatcher; and his pets, Daisy, Katie, Kerry, Steve Brown, Lori Bolick, Madison Bolick and Lillian White. He is also survived by dog and constant companion, Mums.
