Steve Ward Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve Ward of Vilas, North Carolina, born in Davidson, North Carolina, who passed away on December 24, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Asbury and Reda Mae Ward; his niece Reda Gail Brown Garrison; and his brother-in-law Steve Townsend. He is survived by: his siblings, Larry Ward (Brenda) of Lexington, Sherry Brown (Johnny) of Vilas and Kathy Townsend of Mountain City; and his nieces and nephews, Thomas Brown (Anna), Larche Ward (Ariel), Shawn Ward (Nicole), Tabatha Townsend, Angie Townsend and Alisha Ward. He is also survived by other aunts, uncle, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Vanderpool Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 131 Burl Brown Rd, Vilas, NC 28692.
