It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charlie Absher of Waco, North Carolina, born in Madison, Indiana, who passed away on March 16, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Michael Clayton and Alpha Mae Carpenter Absher. He is survived by : his wife Kathy Absher; his children, Elizabeth Huss (Charles Boyle), George "Kornbread" Absher and Jesse Absher; his grandchildren, David, Cameron, Connor, Beth, Charlie, Spencer, Sierra and Sage; and his great grandchild Vera Rose.
