He was predeceased by : his father Eugene Webb; his wife Frances Louise Whitesides Ward; and his brother Bruce Ward. He is survived by : his brother Dean Ward (Joyce); his nephews, Jeff Ward, Eric Ward (Sherry) and Tommy Ward; and his niece Renee Ledford. He is also survived by numerous great-nieces, great-nephews; and many close friends.
