He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur Boyd Stroup and Gladys Sellers Stroup; and his siblings, Bruce Stroup, Gary Stroup and Nancy Stroup.
He is survived by : his wife Melinda Phillips Stroup; his children, Ted Stroup (Sandy) of Waco, Kimberly Lee (Robert) of Waco and Amanda Vess (Darrell) of Waco; his sisters, Brenda Rutherford (Bob) of Mocksville and Sara Zissimopulos (Guy) of Tarpon Springs, FL; his grandchildren, Jonathan Stroup (Shonda), Jennifer Stroup, Colt Ratchford, Jessica Allen (Chris), Hunter Mills (Dustin), Jacey Stroup and Roger Harris Vess; and his great grandchildren, Cooper, Waylon, Addy, Ceceilia, Sophia and Kayden.
