She is survived by: her mother Barbara Jean Russell Mitchell of Kannapolis, NC; her husband James Moody; her sons, Gerald Wayne Howard, Jr. and Ontario Dontre'Howard; her grandchildren, Tesheena Howard and Alyia Howard; her siblings, Lori Rushmeyer of Kannapolis, NC, Cathy Walton (Ronnie) of Concord, NC, Carrie Springs (William) of Kannapolis, NC, Paula Mitchell of Kannapolis, NC, Michelle Heaggans (Marvin) of Davidson, NC, Ernest Mitchell, Jr. of Concord and Tony Mitchell of Concord; her sisters-in-law, Carolyn Harris (Herbert), Idella White and Joyce Rice; her aunt Gloria Steele; and her close friend Rev. Ann Jordan. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
