He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Alexander Tice and Donie Jane Coppedge Tice; his wife Willie Faye Moore Tice; his son Jerry Tice; his grandson Russell Hough; and his siblings, Frank, Richard, Charles, John, Tommy, Robert Tice, Mary Newton and Betty Meachum.
He is survived by: his children, Ellen Tice Goodwin (Lonnie) of Wadesboro and Donald Tice of Lilesville; his grandchildren, Wendy Burr (Kevin), Kimberly Harris (Shane Presley), Derrick Tice (Kimberly), Holly Martini (Anthony) and Jennifer Polson; his great grandchildren, Abigail Underwood, Noah Underwood, Kaelynn Presley, Kinsley Presley, Brookelyn Tice, Joseph Polson and Liliana Martini; and his sister Frances Rumbly.
