He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Walker and Lettie Walker; his son Keith Powe; and his siblings, Polly Walker, Peggy McLean, Margaret Walker, Joe and Louise Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy P. Walker; his sons, Nathaniel Powe of Washington State, James Edward Blue of New Jersey and Edward Williams of Bunnlevel, NC; his siblings, Lonnie Walker of Fayetteville, N. C, Lessie Holliday (Johnnie) of Linden, N. C, LaVerne Harper (Ray) of Fayetteville, NC and Lettie Jones; and his aunt Annie Pearl Walker. He is also survived by cousins and many friends.
