He is survived by: his wife Margaret Long Harrington; his stepsons, Jimmy Dean Williams (Beth) of Monroe and Ricky Wayne Williams (Debbie) of Dover, TN; his grandchildren, Courtney Greene of Chester, SC, Kaitlin Greene of Chester, SC, Caroline Greene of Myrtle Beach, SC, Ricky Williams of Easton, PA and David Williams of Fort Mill, SC; his siblings, Carol Murdock of Wadesboro and Gary Harrington (Sheila) of Morven; and his aunt Ruby Sheppard of Lilesville. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
