He is survived by: his wife Lois Watts Black; his grandchildren, Caroline Rose Black of Wesley Chapel, Grayce Rae Black of Wesley Chapel, Kristen Jeri Diggs of Gastonia, Jordyn Claire Diggs of Gastonia, Dalton Allen Huntley of Wadesboro, Miller Deas of Wesley Chapel, Kaleigh Huntley of Monroe and Taylor Huntley of Wadesboro; and his siblings, Don Black of Chapel Hill, Carolyn Taylor of Mooresville and David "Big" Black (Robin) of Wadesboro. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
