He was predeceased by: his parents, Morman Long and Mollie Jordan Long; his wife Peggy Jordan Long; and his siblings, Ethel McLaurin, Shirley Meachum, Helen Davidson, Morman Long, Jr. and Edward Long.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Josephine Dickens of Wadesboro. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
