We bid farewell to Joyce Carpenter Cherry (Wadesboro, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 3, 2025 at the age of 80. Joyce touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Gallagher Carpenter and Minnie Gladys Gregory Carpenter; and her brothers, Dennis Carpenter and Charlie Carpenter. She is survived by: her daughters, Sheila Martin of Wadesboro, Sandy Rummage (Jeff) of Norwood and Sharon Honeycutt (Darrell) of Wadesboro; and her grandchildren, Adrian Martin (Amy), Justin Martin Gavin (Nicole), Amanda Rummage (Ryan), Jessy Rummage (Cody), Summer Johnson (Elliott) and Cruz Honeycutt (Madison). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and her niece and nephews.
