With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Letha Jenkins of Wadesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on July 8, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Johnnie Wyatt Freeman and Mertis Faye Privette Freeman; and her siblings, Gene Wyatt Freeman and Johnnie Newton. She is survived by : her husband James Earl Jenkins; her children, Barbara Johnson Tice of Marshville, Darius Johnson of Troy and Stanley Johnson of Concord; her sister Mary Ellen Williams of Concord; her grandchildren, Joshua Tice, Jill Tice, Matthew Johnson, Kayle Howell, Nicholas Johnson and Gabriella Resendez; her great grandchildren, Arabella Johnson and Paislee Mae Johnson; and her close friend Alana Wall. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
