She was predeceased by: her parents, George Russell Hoffman and Doris Girtain Hoffman; and her husband James Hancock. She is survived by: her sons, George Carney (Kimberly Dailey) of Albemarle and Gary Carney (Michelle Carney) of Norwood; and her siblings, George Hoffman Jr. of Carneys Point, NJ, Russell Hoffman of Penns Grove, NJ and Dorothy Smith of Madison, NC. She is also survived by four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
