He is survived by: his wife Deneal Hicks Bennett; his daughters, Maria Elizabeth Bennett of Wadesboro and Emily Mikhaila Bennett of Wadesboro; his aunts, Carolyn Gaddy of Oakboro, Bobbie Stegall (Ray) of Marshville and Joanne Parker of Marshville; his sister Elizabeth Gaddy Parker (Anthony) of Oakboro; his nieces and nephews, Nicholas Parker (Brooklyn) of Albemarle, Matthew Parker of Oakboro and Madison Parker of Oakboro; his sister-in-law Lisa Hicks Kirkley (Everette) of Rockingham; his niece Natalie Kirkley Smith (Brandon) of Seven Lakes; Lindsay Lowery Biggers (Jamie) and Sawyer of Wadesboro.
