It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Smith Gaddy (Wadesboro, North Carolina), who passed away on September 2, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Vernon Smith and Rubye Burch Smith; her husband William D. "Bill" Gaddy; her son Mike Gaddy; and her brothers, Brad, Harry, Charles and Robert Smith.

She is survived by : her son-in-law Gail (John Neal); her grandsons, Zack Neal of Washington State and Ben Neal (Amy) of Durham, NC; and her great grandchildren, Emma, Stella, Anna and Luke.
