We announce the death of Patsy Lee McLaurin (Wadesboro, North Carolina), who passed away on August 17, 2026, at the age of 92. Patsy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayne Lee and Carrie Ross Lee; her husband Hugh McLaurin, Jr.; her sister Anne Ramsey; and her grandparents, Fred, Emma Lee, Sam and Myrtle Ross.
She is survived by: her son Lee McLaurin of Albemarle; her grandsons, Christopher McLaurin of Albemarle and Charles McLaurin of New York; her daughter-in-law Carolyn McLaurin of Albemarle; her brother Bobby; her sister-in-law Nancy Lee of Ansonville; and her nieces, Lesa Walton (Johnnie) of Rocky Mount, Ronda Austin (Dennis) of Marshville and Debbie Carpenter of Wadesboro.
A graveside service was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Anson Memorial Park (2207 NC-742, Wadesboro, NC 28170).
