She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Strawn Tyson and Kathleen Furr Beard; her sister Lisa Henry; her parents-in-law, Bill and Edith Thompson; her sister-in-law Shelia Drake; and her niece Anna Gaddy.
She is survived by: her husband Billy Thompson; her brother Larry Tyson (Debbie) of Charlotte; her sons, Jeffrey Tyson and Brett Tyson; her brother Ronnie Tyson (Cheri) of Wadesboro; her nephews, Chuck Tyson and Kevin Tyson; her sister Debbie Williams (Tommy) of Lilesville; her nieces and nephews, Mendy Mullis and Terrin Harrington; and her brother-in-law Scott Thompson of Ansonville.
