He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Waddell Allen and Emma Belle Little Allen. He is survived by: his children, Nicole Steagall (Travis) and Brian Allen (Mary Lena); his grandchildren, Emma Steagall of Peachland, Allie Steagall of Peachland and Jacob Allen of Peachland; and his brother Tommy Allen (Debbie) of Monroe. He is also survived by numerous cousins; and a multitude of friends who were like extended family.
