He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Hubbard and Frances Hubbard; his daughters, Eva Mae Jefferson and Phyllis Lee Cole (Robert); his granddaughters, Margie Hubbard-Pratt and Angel Patrice Hubbard; and his siblings, Milton Hubbard, Jimmy Hubbard, Miss Corretta Hubbard, Miss Julia Hubbard, Emma Little, Miss Mary Hubbard and Liza Little.

He is survived by: his children, Alexander Ratliff (Donna) of Syracuse, Frederick B. Hubbard (Nona) of Laurinburg, NC, Rosetta Huntley (William) of Matthews, NC, Mary Esther Sturdivant (Bryant) of Polkton, NC and Shirley Hubbard-Deese of Charlotte, NC.. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
