He was predeceased by: his parent Jerry Alton Goodwin; and his grandparents, Robert, Azile Goodwin and Lillian Turner. He is survived by: his mother Phyllis Turner Goodwin of Wadesboro; his brother Paul Goodwin of Wadesboro; and his aunts and uncles, Teresa Biggers (David) of Wadesboro, David Turner (Carol) of Morven, Russell Goodwin (Debbie) of Polkton, Larry Bullard of Rockingham and Sandra Pliescott (Woody) of Goldsboro.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home (2036 Morven Rd, Wadesboro, NC 28170). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at the Anson Memorial Park (2207 NC-742, Wadesboro, NC 28170).
