He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Tripett Evans and Lillian Rochester Evans; his wife Kathryn Hightower Evans; and his sister Mary "Tippy" Campbell. He is survived by: his daughter Warrie; his son-in-law Ramsy Boland of Cary; his granddaughter Hope Boland of Texas; and his siblings, Tracy Evans of Cocoa Beach, FL, Janice Willets and Columbia. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
