She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Allen and Elsie Mishoe Williams; her husband James Curtis Shoemake; her children, Perry Shoemake, James Curtis Shoemake, Jr. and Amanda Shoemake; her granddaughter Ashley McDaniel; and her siblings, Doris Peele, Marjorie Allen, Mildred Walters (Bill), Mary Williams, Joe Williams, Jackie Williams and Billy Frank Williams.
She is survived by: her daughter Luann McDaniel (Tommy) of Wagram, NC; her grandchildren, Jonathan McDaniel of Raleigh, NC, Dr. Garrett McDaniel (Kristy) of McColl, SC, Misty Watts of Aberdeen and Kristin Jacobs of Laurinburg; her great grandchildren, Brianna, Avery McDaniel, Richie, Tyler Watts and Spencer Shoemake; and her siblings, Brenda Clark (Tommy) of Laurel Hill, Elsie Granville (Blanchard) of Pinehurst and Gerald Williams (Levon) of McColl.
