She is survived by: her husband James Paul "Jim" Lavia, Jr.; her children, Julie Hunter (Kimbel) of Salem, VA, Beth Dunn (Lane) of Wake Forest and Joseph Lavia (Victoria) of Severna Park, Maryland; her grandchildren, Kristine Binner (Matthew) of Salem, Virginia, Caroline Tomblin (Justin) of Pittsboro, Ryan Hunter (Kalie) of Westfield, Matthew Dunn of Wake Forest, James Lavia of Severna Park and Alison Lavia of Severna Park, Maryland; her great grandchild Thomas Binner; and her brother-in-law Ronald Lavia (Molly) of Long Beach, California. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
