It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Benjamin Louis Ramsay III (Wake Forest, North Carolina), born in Watertown, New York, who passed away on June 5, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin II and Betty Ramsay; his wife Wendy; and his brothers, Jimmy and Charles.
He is survived by: his children, Heather Ramsay, Melicent Kuryla (Thomas) and Benjamin L. Ramsay IV (Allison); his grandchildren, Zachary, Cassidy, Benjamin V and Ellis; and his siblings, Sadye-Ann (Thomas) and Bryan.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bright Funeral Home (405 S Main St, Wake Forest, NC 27587). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Bright Funeral Home Chapel (405 S Main St, Wake Forest, NC 27587). A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oleander Memorial Gardens (306 Bradley Dr, Wilmington, NC 28409).
