She was predeceased by : her parents, William Smith and Sudie Powell McKinney. She is survived by : her husband Ricky Lee Newsome; her son John Christopher Newsome of Youngsville; her stepson Clint Newsome (Angie) of Colonial Heights, VA; her brother William Smith McKinney, Jr. (Laurie) of Centreville, VA; her niece Lindsay McKinney Holland (Sean) of Round Hill, VA; her nephew Brad McKinney (Shana); and her great-nephew Connor of Round Hill, VA..
