She is survived by: her sister-in-law Betty P. Whitaker; her nephew Barry W. Whitaker, Jr.; her great-niece Sarah; and her great-nephew Ben Bowen.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bright Funeral Home (405 S Main St, Wake Forest, NC 27587). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Bright Funeral Home Chapel (405 S Main St, Wake Forest, NC 27587). A burial was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Harris Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery (2960 Tarboro Rd, Youngsville, NC 27596).
