We announce the death of Blewitt Richard Andersen Jr. (Wake Forest, North Carolina), who passed away on June 28, 2026, at the age of 92. Blewitt will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Blewitt Andersen and Lucille Andersen; his wife Biven Gorum Andersen; his son Terry Dane Andersen; and his brothers, Wendell, Johnnie and Troy Andersen.
He is survived by: his sons, Derek Andersen (Maggie) of Wake Forest, Doyle Andersen (Julie) of Corpus Christi, Texas and David Andersen (Brenda) of Wake Forest; his grandchildren, Missy, Kristen, Stephanie, Fallon, Kevin and Callie; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Owen, Henry, James, Raleigh, Bryce, Emerson, Easton, Nolan and Cullen.
