He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Mitchell and Evelyn Mitchell; his sister Cammie Hunt; his wife Patricia Mitchell; and his daughters, Karen Schneider (Kevin), Amy Williams (Tim) and Sara Ray (Donnie).
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Nicholas, Alan, Andrew, Matthew, Daniel, Anna and Kate; and his sisters, Kathy Hill, Cynthia Mitchell and Jane Pallas (Chuck Wells). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
