It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Carter (Wake Forest, North Carolina), who passed away on May 30, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Carter and Albert Carter; his brother Lamis Carter; his daughter Deborah Sue Carter Green; and his grandson Nicholus Wade Green.

He is survived by: his wife Gail Carter; his daughter Lisa Carter Reeves; his son-in-law Ken Partozes (Jennifer); his granddaughter Ivy Partozes; his great grandchildren, Odin Haze Jackson and Trinity Madison Green; and his sisters, Shirley Alford (Jesse), Betty Mae Harrison and Nellie Hagwood.
