She is survived by: her husband Charles Alan McDougal Jr.; her children, Alan V. McDougal (Jennifer McDougal) and Erin M. Bartow (Scott Bartow); her grandchildren, Ella McDougal, Fiona Bartow, Evelyn Bartow and Owen Bartow; her niece Samantha Miller (John Miller); her nephew Chris Lang (Tiffany Lang); her great-nieces, MacKenzie, Madison, Macy and Ashlyn; and her great-nephew Johathan. She is also survived by her family, friends.

“Dear Chuck, Erin & Alan, We were deeply saddened to hear about the loss of Cheryl. I remember her showing up with brownies the very first day we moved to Skipjack Court. Our kids Meg and Ryan loved having Erin babysit. Fiona is just about the same age we met Erin. I make her Jambalaya recipe that has her name on the recipe card many times during the winter months and think of her every time! She was a wonderful neighbor and friend and we are blessed to have known her 20 years. Lorelei”
