She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Holbrook and Jimmie Sisson Holbrook. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Clark (Annette) of Garner, NC, James Koontz (Kathy) of Macon, NC and Grayson Koontz of Blacksburg, SC; her stepchildren, Debbie Clark of Augusta, GA, David Vershure of Jefferson, WI and Steve Vershure of Phoenix, AZ; and her siblings, Cindy Hamilton of Columbia, SC, Frank Holbrook of Augusta, GA and Beth Crowe of Holly Springs, NC.. She is also survived by her four granddaughters and one grandson; her eight great-grandchildren.
